The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fresh and straight, but with concentration and lots of juicy fruit. It expresses the aromas of morello cherry, black plum, crushed blackcurrant, blackberry, a tangy hint of wild raspberry and a very light touch of prunes and cherry in chocolate, which appears after aeration. We also find delicate spicy notes (vanilla, licorice with a hint of star anise, green cardamom), a touch of toast in the background and freshness, brought by herbaceous and floral aromas (violet, cut rose stem). On the palate, the wine is open, with ripe fruit and a nice freshness, thanks to the tangy side of the fruit and a good bitterness on the finish. We find flavors of morello cherry, black plum, wild blackberry, wild strawberry, crushed blackcurrant and a tangy hint of wild raspberry, combined with notes of sweet spices (liquorice, cardamom, vanilla, a hint of walnut). nutmeg), a hint of torrefaction (toasted hazelnut, toasted oak, coffee) and floral (violet, peony) and menthol notes, which appear at the end of the palate. Good persistence, gourmandise and freshness.
