CHÂTEAU VILLEMAURINE 2024 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is aromatic and offers a roasted side and a lovely texture. It reveals notes of blackberry, graphene and small notes of wild strawberry, associated with touches of small fairly ripe red fruits, as well as hints of infusion, nutmeg and a hint of toasted almond. The palate is well-built, it offers suppleness, juiciness, a tangy frame, energy and good definition. It also presents a certain rightness, purity of fruit and a lovely racy grain. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, small red berries and small notes of juicy/tangy cherry, combined with touches of lilac, star anise, infusion and nutmeg. Good length and definition. The tannins are precise and mellow. A wine offering juiciness, acidity and a little brightness.
