The wine needs to be decanted. The nose offers precision and race. It reveals notes of fresh cassis, pulpy blackberry and small notes of fresh flowers associated with slight touches of nutmeg, spices, and a discreet hint of cardamon in the background. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers freshness, suavity, some fat, fullness, gourmandise, a slight unctuosity, a beautiful fine and racy grain, a discreet chalky side and iodine in the mouth. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ pulpy blackberry, juicy/ pulpy cassis, and small notes of flowers (violet, lilac…) associated with touches of pulpy raspberry, of fresh/ bright berries, toast, chocolate and a hint of fresh blond tobacco and a discreet hint of vanilla in the background. Good length with sapidity on the finish/ persistence.
