The nose is elegant, aromatic, beautifully racy and has a lovely racy grain. There are notes of boysenberry, bright berries and a hint of zesty minerality combined with hints of violet, fresh lily and fine hints of crunchy red berries and a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is crispy, mineral and offers freshness, fruitiness, minerality, elegance, volume, roundness, smoothness, and an acidic spine. There are notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and, more slightly, fleshy cherry associated with touches of violet, fresh blueberry as well as delicate nuances of nutmeg, fresh tobacco, racy minerality, a subtle hint of bergamot and bourbon vanilla on the back palate. The tannins are mellow.
