The nose is concentrated, fine and powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with ripe red fruits, spices and gray pepper as well as a hint of almond and subtle touches of flowers (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, racy, suave and offers a good definition, a fine acid frame, juiciness, gourmandize, power, freshness, density, minerality as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy raspberry and more slightly small berries associated with fine touches of coffee, toasted bread as well as a subtle hint of almond, spices and a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper (in the background). Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
