The nose is aromatic and offers power, a fine grain and a fine straightness. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis, small notes of racy minerality, crushed red berries associated with touches of cornflower, violet and a subtle hint of lily, chocolate, a discreet hint of toasted, camphor and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a beautiful racy minerality as well as a certain purity of the fruit, a fine salinity, a very fine tension as well as a beautiful freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, ripe blackberry, fresh wild raspberry, small notes of small juicy/fresh black fruits associated with a touch of small fresh/juicy blue fruits as well as hints of violet, zan, toasted hazelnut, cardamom and a discreet hint of chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length. A subtle hint of tobacco in the finish/persistence.
