Château Vieux Robin 2022 – Médoc

The nose is elegant, with concentration, a certain depth and a little intensity. It reveals notes of brilliant Morello cherry, fleshy cassis and small notes of small roasted-elegant fruits, associated with touches of toast, almond, a subtle hint of sage and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, with minerality, a fresh, tangy frame, juiciness, good definition, fine balance and a certain small concentration. It expresses notes of brilliant cassis, bright morello cherry and small notes of fresh/juicy violet plum, associated with touches of small Mediterranean red fruits, as well as a hint of cola, smoke, chocolate and a hint of bourbon vanilla and sweet pepper in the background. Tannins are mellow and well-built. Nice freshness and juiciness.
