The nose is flowery and offers a certain gourmandise, good definition and a very fine complexity. There are notes of violet, lily and, to a lesser extent, pulpy blueberry, combined with hints of wild strawberry, blackcurrant, as well as fine hints of nutmeg, chocolate and a very discreet touch of camphor. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, good definition, minerality, some fat and a certain gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh blackcurrant, fleshy wild blackberry and more slightly redcurrant combined with hints of crisp strawberry, violet/lilac as well as fine toasty, chocolate, a very discreet varietal touch and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut.
