The nose is fruity, well-built and offers concentration. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with touches of griotte/cherry as well as hints of toasted, nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of liquorice. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced and offers a small tension, a fine gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of small red acidulous berries, hints of juicy cherry as well as fine hints of nutmeg, cardamom, liquorice and tea (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built.
