The nose offers a certain gourmandize. It reveals notes of grilled bread, ripe cassis, small notes of strawberry associated with touches of violet as well as small hints of blackberry and vanilla. the mouth is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, a juicy/mineral frame, a certain tension, energy, a small richness as well as fat and a tannic finely tight structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, raspberry, small notes of small pulpy/fleshy fruits associated with touches of violet, lilac, chocolate as well as hints of vanilla and hazelnut. The tannins are well built. Good length. A subtle chew in the finish/persistence.
