The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a small/certain power as well as density. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, small black fruits, small notes of incense associated with touches of small ripe blue fruits black pepper as well as a touch of griotte cherry, tobacco, a discreet hint of spices, underwood, caramelization and a subtle hint of liquorice stick. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a good definition, gourmandize as well as suavity, a fine creaminess, a small controlled richness and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, pulpy blackberry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of small crushed blue fruits, vanilla, camphor, cocoa as well as fine hints of mild tobacco, saffron and a subtle hint of hazelnut. Good length. Good persistence.
