The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The first nose expresses light notes of roasted fruit (roasted red cherry) and smoke, which are complemented by aromas of wild strawberry, morello cherry, blackberry and black plum. We also find a fairly delicate spiciness (liquorice, cloves, nutmeg), a fine floral and herbaceous bouquet (violet, rose petals, cornflower, mint) and a touch of torrefaction (toasted hazelnut), which appear in second nose. The palate has a rather tight attack, with good bitterness and fine, but slightly drying tannins. It expresses the flavors of morello cherry, red cherry, strawberry, red plum, blackberry in the background, combined with notes of dark chocolate, mint, sweet spices (liquorice, vanilla, cloves), cornflower, toast and smoke (in the background). Good persistence with salivating acidity and pleasant bitterness.
