The nose is fruity, well-built and offers a certain elegance as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, cherry and small notes of violet associated with touches of plum, small pulpy blue fruits as well as fine hints of liquorice, nutmeg, a discreet hint of pepper and tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous/fresh frame, a certaine gourmandize as well as fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, raspberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of bright cherry, vanilla pod, toasted, nutmeg as well as fine hints of caramelization. Good length. Tannins are slightly tight.
