Château Vieux Château Landon – Réserve 2022 – Médoc

The nose is fruity, and offers creaminess and freshness. It expresses notes of creamy blackberry, crushed strawberry and more lightly cornflower, combined with touches of liquorice as well as hints of nutmeg and sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a slight creaminess, gourmandise, a tangy frame, juiciness, a certain slight fatness and a slight straightness. The wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small crushed red fruits as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco. Good length and definition. A fine little chew and gourmandise on the finish/persistence. Lovely freshness and gourmandise. Nice wine!
