The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is very aromatic and expressive: there are pure fruity notes of sour cherry, black plum, red plum, blackberry and cassis, prune, with a spicy touch of black pepper and a mineral side of wet stone. On the palate, the wine is very open, with pronounced flavors of black fruits (blackberry, black plum, morello cherry), chocolate, bitter cocoa and a herbaceous touch of rosemary. The tannins are firm and powerful, enveloped in a generous body of wine. The finish is fruity, juicy and pleasant, with a nice acidity that balances a slight astringency of tannins.
