The nose is fresh, fruity and offers some concentration. There are notes of boysenberry, fresh/pulpy blackcurrant and slightly fresh strawberry with hints of fresh liquorice, violet, blueberry and hints of black tea and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals an acidic backbone, racy minerality, good definition and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/acidic blackberry, small red berry/tart rose and more lightly violet combined with hints of cardamom, sweet spice and fine crunchy strawberry and a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco. The tannins are precise, soft and suave. Good length.
