CHÂTEAU VERDIGNAN 2023 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity, gourmand, elegant, with a lovely airy side in its fruit/pulpiness, lovely finesse of the grain and a stretched side. It expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, fresh/pulpy blueberry and more slightly – tobacco associated with touches of wild berries, salty/dry gravel, spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, tension, good definition, a certain gourmandise, accuracy, a tangy frame. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh blackcurrant and more slightly – pulpy/juicy raspberry associated with touches of star anise, cornflower, liquorice stick, as well as hints of racy minerality and a hint of bright blue berries and graphite. The tannins are soft and tasty. Freshness and tension.
