The nose is spicy, with a little certain power, and would benefit from decanting. It reveals notes of violets, spices and small notes of fresh black pepper, associated with touches of violet, dried flowers, hints of fairly ripe strawberry, pulpy cassis and fine hints of smoke. The palate is fruity, with freshness, a fresh frame, energy, a little sappy guideline and good construction around the tannic structure. It expresses notes of raspberry, small juicy/fresh red berries and small notes of cassis, associated with touches of nutmeg, violet, a fine hint of cornflower, iris as well as hints of tonka bean. Beautifully marked by cherry and silkiness. A wine with lovely floral hints on the palate.
