The wine shows a medium ruby colour with a brightening rim. The nose is slightly restrained, offering notes of sweet spices like nutmeg and vanilla, followed by nuances of cedar wood, a touch of milk chocolate and cacao, with delicate nuances of ripe raspberries and strawberries in the background. The palate is ripe and juicy, offering bold but polished tannins, refreshing acidity, intense fruits concentration, supported by a serious oak imprint. The palate opens up with nuances of ripe red cherries, strawberry compote and forest raspberries. Long and juicy finish. Excellent ageing potential.
