The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize. It reveals notes of juicy blackberry, crushed/ripe strawberry, small notes of cassis associated with a fine touches of liquorice/zan, nutmeg and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral/fresh frame, freshness as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with a touch of small red berries as well as fine hints of violet, tonka bean and cocoa. Tannins are marked. A very discreet hint of vanilla on the persistence/aftertaste.
