On the palate, the wine is well-built, fruity, elegant and gourmand. It offers a tangy frame, juiciness, suppleness, gourmandise, a lovely chiselled side, brilliance and energy. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, roasted-elegant cherry, and small notes of small bright blue fruits, combined with touches of brilliant raspberry, as well as hints of lilac, chocolate/tonka bean, tobacco, toasted almond and coffee. The nose is nicely aromatic in freshness. Elegant, mellow tannins.
