Château VALANDRAUD 2021 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé

Château VALANDRAUD 2021 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is racy, complete and offers concentration in mastery and deepness. It reveals notes of blackberry, small ripe/fleshy fruits, and small notes of mocha, associated with touches of ripe strawberry as well as slight almost roasted hints, sweet spices and hints of morello cherry and toasted almond. The palate is fruity and offers precision, suppleness, freshness, a beautiful definition, gourmandise, a beautiful aerial character in its power and relative richness (to put back in the context of the vintage), all in precision / control, delicacy, and structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy raspberry and small notes of fleshy/roasted strawberry associated with touches of bright blueberry as well as mineral hints as well as slight floral hints in the background, delicate hints of chocolate, toast and a discreet hint almost caramelization. Beautiful wine with gourmandise and roundness!
