The nose is fruity, gourmand, full, generous and elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry, Quetsche plum jam and slight notes of dark chocolate associated with a touch of minty liquorice and a discreet touch of fresh tobacco. The palate is fruity, round, suave, precise, elegant, beautifully built and offers tension, harmony, a beautiful density, a good volume, a silky matter as well as a beautiful and pure fruitiness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum and slight notes of raspberry, cassis combined with a touch of chocolate, licorice as well as slight touches of violet / cassis bud in the background. Tannins are fine and offers a good maturity (for an EnPrimeur wine). Good length and persistence.
