The nose is elegant, precise and offers a certain density, delicacy as well as deepness. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy blueberry and small notes of blue plum associated with touches of strawberry as well as fine hints of sugared mild tobacco, cornflower, lily and discreet hints of cardamom and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, fresh, elegant, beautifully defined and offers a small gourmandize, precision, a fine tension, a small richness full of control, delicacy as well as fleshiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of cassis, violet plum as well as hints of tonka bean, cardamom, tobacco, almond and chocolate. A subtle hint of caramelization on the finish/persistence. Tannins are elegant and chewy. A persistence with a fine hint of dark chocolate.
