The nose is concentrated, elegant and offers a small richness. It reveals notes of blackberry candy, ripe fruit and slight notes of violet, red fruit (raspberry, cherry) combined with a touch of toast. The palate is fresh, mineral, racy, gourmand, nicely ample, dense, fleshy and offers a nice silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of strawberry and blackberry combined with hints of plum, red fruit, chocolate, spices, fresh blueberry (slightly acid that keeps the taste buds awake) as well as notes roasted hazelnut, a fine note of coffee and a touch of licorice on the finish. Tannins are fine and slightly grainy. Good length.
