Château Trianon 2023 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and offers a certain concentration. It reveals notes of fairly ripe blackcurrant, fairly ripe blackberry and small notes of fleshy blueberry associated with a touch of roasted raspberry as well as fine hints of pepper, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of almost aromatic herbs (in the background). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, gourmandise, a certain smoothness, a stretched side, good definition as well as a nice fleshy/juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy violet plum, crushed raspberry and small notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant associated with touches of cornflower, star anise, fine hints of sweet blond tobacco as well as a very discreet hint of almost rosemary (in the background) and cocoa. Good length.
