The nose is fresh, aromatic and quite expressive. It reveals notes of grilled bread, grilled almond and slight notes of fresh/ripe blackberry associated with a hint of cassis as well as discreet hints of fresh small fruits. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh and offers a nice suavity, fat, a slight unctuosity, a nice freshness, tension as well as gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, fresh/ripe raspberry and slight notes of redcurrant associated with hints of toasted/caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of chocolate, a subtle hint of cardamom and a discreet hint of fresh coffee (on the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length and persistence on a hint of dark chocolate/bitterness as well as an imperceptible hint of coffee.
