Château Treytins 2022 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

Château Treytins 2022 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers a beautiful concentration of tangy black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry, damson plum), juicy notes of red fruits (strawberry, crushed raspberry), associated with a delicate woody and toasted hint (heated wood, toasted hazelnut), as well as liquorice, cardamom and nutmeg. There is also a floral and herbaceous touch (violet, wild mint). The palate is straight, lively, with a tangy frame, energy, as well as a hint of bitterness and a tannic side of bird cherry that appears on the attack. We also find flavors of blackcurrant, morello cherry, tangy blueberry, raspberry and cranberries, associated with touches of liquorice, nutmeg, fresh wood in the background and toasted hazelnut, as well as a herbaceous touch of blackcurrant leaf. Tannins are firm, grippy, a little dry, balanced by a salivating acidity at the end of the mouth. A chiseled, fresh and firm wine.
