Lovely fruity, spicy nose, finely graphene, chiseled and offers a discreet, almost chalky side as well as aromatic purity. We find notes of wild blackcurrant, small black berries and slight notes of black pepper associated with touches of cornflower, small juicy roasted red fruits as well as a hint of colas, sweet blond tobacco and discreet vanilla pod tips. The palate is fruity with purity and lovely juicy pulpy fruit. It’s beautifully crafted with precision and a tangy texture. There are notes of juicy / pulpy black cherries, juicy blackcurrant which brings brightness to the wine. There are hints of tonka bean, cocoa, toast as well as hints of roasted and juicy red berries. There is a hint of blueberries and fine notes of vanilla, blond tobacco and a subtle hint of cinnamon and toast. At the end of the palate, we perceive notes of roasting and cocoa on the persistence. Tannins are finely chalky and gourmand. There is some nice work on the good bitters and roasting. The wine is pure and precise, nicely framed.
