The nose is spicy, precise and gourmand and offers a beautiful grain, clean, precise, and racy. There are notes of wild blackberry, ripe small fruits, and small notes of Madagascar pepper combined with hints of cornflower, pulpy cassis as well as slight hints of light tobacco and nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, a good definition, precision as well as slight tension. On the palate it expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, fresh/juicy raspberry and small notes of cornflower associated with hints of juicy/bright cherry as well as hints of licorice/ star anise and discreet hints of spices. There are sappy, supple tannins. The finish is beautifully supple and gourmand with a discreet and good work on the good bitterness.
