On the nose it is fruity and it offers a good definition, freshness and refined complexity. It reveals the notes of cassis, fresh wild blackberry and more lightly fresh small wild fruits associated with small red currants, hints of fresh flowers, discreet hints of cardamom, black tea, the zan and subtle hints of chocolate and toasted hazelnut. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, suavity, good definition, a certain gourmandize, an tangy frame, a fine creaminess, a little roundness, a little fat, a fine tension as well as a fine character contained in its richness. The wine express the notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy cassis and, more subtly, fresh/ripe red currants are combined with hints of violet, lily, cardamom, fine points of nutmeg, fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of pepper and vanilla (in the background). The tannins are racy and offer a mellow. Good length.
