Château Tourteran 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fresh and offers a fine intensity and straightness. There are notes of fresh iris, rose and, to a lesser extent, pulpy blackcurrant, combined with fine varietal hints, pulpy red berries and a fine touch of grey pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, acidity, fatness, roundness and a fine straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, pulpy boysenberry and, more slightly, crunchy red berries, combined with hints of fresh flowers, fine points of racy minerality, zan and a discreet hint of camphor and toastiness. Slight bitterness on the finish adds to the palatability.
