Château Tournefeuille 2023 – Lalande de Pomerol

The nose is gourmand, aromatic and chocolatey. It also expresses notes of black plum, red plum, blackcurrant, morello cherry, dried mint, as well as an expressive, but pleasant spiciness – the aromas of liquorice, star anise and cardamom. We also find notes of violet and peony. The palate is silky and expresses flavors of morello cherry, black plum, blackcurrant and red plum, associated with notes of sweet spices (liquorice, cardamom) and integrated toasted notes. Good length, the finish is juicy and fresh. The tannins are supple and fine, with a beautiful tannic structure.
