The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers juiciness, a slight freshness, a good definition, a slight acid frame, a good grain, a good juiciness, finesse as well as a slight fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, wild strawberry and redcurrant combined with slight toasted touches, vanilla as well as a subtle hint of liquorice stick and discreet hints of minerality. Tannins are well-built. There is a subtle hint of vanilla / almond on the aftertaste.
