The nose is racy and offers a fine grain and a stretched side. There are notes of fresh pepper, wild strawberry and, to a lesser extent, violet, combined with fine touches of juicy blackcurrant. The palate is fruity with juiciness, minerality, acidity and a fine salinity. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy blackberry, juicy raspberry and slightly red berry notes with hints of flowers/violet, racy minerality and hints of cardamom, mocha/roasted coffee and a subtle hint of blond tobacco. The tannins are fine and discreetly tight. Good length. Tension on the finish.
