Château Tour Saint Joseph 2022 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a certain power/concentration. We find notes of concentrated blackberry, small black fruits and slight notes of spices associated with small touches of cornflower as well as a mineral hint and a discreet almost roasted hint. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced and offers freshness, tension, juiciness as well as a tangy structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, violet and small notes of creamy black plum associated with touches of fairly ripe small red fruits as well as fine hints of vanilla, racy minerality and a subtle hint of toasted/toasted hazelnut. Good length. A nice little soft one. A subtle saline/iodine hint in the background/persistence.
