The nose is fresh, minty, with a touch of liquorice, peppermint and pronounced woody aromas (pine sap, fresh and toasted wood). We then find the aromas of red cherry and morello cherry, black plum, tangy and bitter cranberries, tangy raspberry, as well as a touch of violet and peony. The mouth is chiseled, tangy. It expresses notes of morello cherry, red cherry, cranberries and black plum, combined with a touch of toasted hazelnut, dried rose and peony, as well as a woody and toasted note and hints of chocolate and cocoa in the background. The palate is quite supple, but closed, the tannins are a bit dry, but balanced by a salivating acidity. Good length, lots of freshness, and a gourmand touch of chocolate and cocoa on the lingering finish.
