The nose is spicy and reveals intensity, power and aromatic purity. There are notes of pulpy wild blackcurrant, bright raspberry and more lightly blueberry, liquorice combined with hints of blue berries, fine points of Cuben pepper as well as fine points of zan and toast/grill. The palate is mineral, balanced and reveals fruit, concentration, accuracy, a fine stretch and a mineral backbone. On the palate this wine expresses notes of violet, pulpy/fresh blackcurrant and slightly fresh blackberry combined with hints of wild strawberry, lily, tonka bean and fine toasted/coffee notes. Good length. The tannins are precise and smooth.
