The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, power, a small richness as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of wild cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of crushed wild strawberry associated with touches of timut pepper, small wild fruits as well as hints of flowers, crushed violet plum, crushed griotte as well as fine hints of caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral and offers a good definition, minerality, a certain power, a racy minerality and a small concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, pulpy/crushed small red berries, small notes of crushed violet plum, crushed cherry associated with fine touches of violet, camphor, liquorice and sugared mild tobacco. A subtle hint of vanilla in the finish/persistence. Tannins are well-built.
