Château Tour Saint Christophe 2016 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a small concentration and a very fine intensity / richness. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and blackberry associated with small touches of red fruits, licorice, cardamom, spices, a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background) as well as an imperceptible grilled hint and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, gourmande, straight and offers fleshiness, juiciness, tension, a good guideline, a small suavity, a fine minerality, a good freshness, a fine grain, a good finesse as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry and small notes of crushed cassis, strawberry associated with touches of liquorice, oak / toasted and discreet hints of cocoa. Tannins are fine and well-built.
