The nose is a little spicy. There are notes of leather, crushed raspberry and, more slightly, pulpy blackcurrant combined with delicate touches of clove. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, smoothness, freshness and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, raspberry and more slightly crushed red currant combined with hints of blackcurrant, clove as well as fine nuances of violet, liquorice and a subtle hint of chocolate/toast on the finish.
