The nose is a little tight and offers a bit of reduction at the moment. The wine needs to be decanted. There are notes of ripe raspberry, crunchy red berries and more slightly of lily combined with a touch of boysenberry, blueberry as well as fine hints of star anise and a discreet touch of vanilla. The palate is fruity, tightly wound and offers juiciness, minerality, fine tension, crispness and a nice acidic structure. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, tart/crisp cherry and slightly blueberry notes combined with hints of lily, racy minerality, tart/fresh red berries and fine hints of star anise.
