The nose reveals some finesse, elegance, good definition and a certain complexity. There are notes of fleshy raspberry, boysenberry and more lightly pulpy/flavoured cherry combined with hints of blueberry, nutmeg, bread toast and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, currently discreetly tight and offers minerality, a mineral backbone, juiciness, acidity, good definition, tension and a little stretch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and more lightly lily combined with touches of racy minerality, tonka bean, vanilla, fleshy strawberry as well as delicate hints of iodine, sweet blond tobacco. Nice mellowness on the finish. The tannins are elegant and mellow.
