Château Tour de Pez 2022 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is fruity and racy, with an elegant, airy grain and a pleasant touch of spice. We find notes of small crushed ripe red fruits, such as fairly ripe strawberry and small notes of blackberry, associated with saline touches and fine hints of peppery. The palate is fruity, with juiciness, suavity and a marked salinity, bringing a certain gourmandise. On the palate, we find a finesse of grain, airy and melodious side. We perceive notes of wild strawberry, crushed raspberry and more lightly, blackberry, associated with touches of sweet pepper and iodine/salt/grave hints. In the background, a discreet touch of delicate toastiness. Tannins are mellow and sapid, adding a general gourmandise. The finish is gourmand with good persistence.
