The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, suavity, fullness as well as a beautiful definition and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright black cherry, violet, plumand small notes of raspberry associated with touches of liquorice, nutmeg, black tea, discreet hints of sweet spices and a subtle hint of mocha. Tannins are well-built. Good length. An imperceptible varietal hint on the aftertaste.
