The nose is fruity, relatively fresh and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and slight notes of fleshy strawberries associated to a touch of racy/gravel minerality, spices, toasted hints as well as a discreet hint of grey pepper and vanilla. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, silky, relatively suave and offers a mineral fram, a slight acidity (in the background), roundness, fat, finesse as well as a small juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberries, raspberry and slight notes of blackberry, cassis associated with slight notes of racy minerality, a slight touch of sweet spices and a slight toasted touch. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. The aftertaste is suave. There are a very discreet hint of salinity and caramelized oak on the persistence. A nice wine!
