The nose is fresh and reveals a certain racy power. There are notes of raspberry, wild red berries and, to a lesser extent, violets, combined with hints of spice, nutmeg and a discreet touch of black tea, cloves and black pepper. The palate reveals minerality, crispness and a nice freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, pulpy raspberry and more lightly cherry combined with touches of racy minerality, fresh rose petal, fresh lily as well as fine hints of clove and a subtle almost smoky hint of toasted almond. Good length. Soft and supple tannins.
