The nose offers concentration, complexity and depth. There are notes of boysenberry, creamy blackcurrant and slightly crushed raspberry combined with hints of violet, red berries, chocolate, sweet blond tobacco and a subtle hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, minerality and a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy blueberry and more slightly crushed blackcurrant combined with hints of raspberry/red berry, fine nuances of lily, lilac and fine notes of cardamom and chocolate. The tannins are racy. A fine touch of positive bitterness on the finish.
