Château Tour Castillon 2017 – Médoc

The nose is aromatic and offers a small deepness as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and violet associated with touches of zan, toasted, discreet touches of ripe/fleshy red fruits as well as subtle hints of sugared mild tobacco and a very discreet hint of caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine mineral frame, a fine juiciness, gourmandize, freshness, straightness as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly juicy cherry, juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of sugared mild tobacco, oak, chocolate, vanilla as well as an imperceptible hint of nut (in the background). Tannins are slightly chewy. Gourmandize on the finish.
