The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The first nose expresses tasty notes of roasted meat and smoke, which evolve towards sweet spices and ripe fruit after aeration. We find the aromas of vanilla, cloves, a hint of cinnamon, licorice and green pepper, toasted almond, associated with the freshness of cut mint, as well as notes of fruit (blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry, strawberry, bigarreau cherry) and flowers (cherry blossom, cornflower). On the palate, the wine offers tension and juiciness. It expresses notes of tangy red cherry, juicy morello cherry, strawberry, blackcurrant and blueberry, combined with touches of fresh flowers (cornflower, a hint of peony), as well as a fine spicy side (white pepper, licorice, cloves). The mid-palate is fruity and ample, as well as the finish, quite persistent and fragrant (especially with notes of flowers and aromatic herbs). Beautiful tannic structure, powerful, but fine and not astringent. Beautiful acidity in harmony with the profile of the wine. A gourmand, but structured wine, with aging potential.
